EXCITING TOBOGGAN & SLEDGE RUNS IN ST. JOHANN – ALPENDORF
A toboggan or sledge ride is always an amazing experience, not only for children. Spend a fun day out with your family or friends on two natural sledge runs in a car-free area of the winter sports resort of St. Johann – Alpendorf. Sledge hire is available on the spot. Our guests can start for an exciting sledge ride right from doorstep of our hotel or at the “Gut Berg Stadl” Inn.
NATURAL TOBOGGAN RUN IN ALPENDORF – CLOSE TO OUR HOTEL
- 1.5 km long sledge run
- Partly floodlit in a car-free area
- You can start right from the doorstep of the “Gut Berg” Hotel or at our “Gut Berg Stadl” (950 metres)
- The sledge run ends at “Oberforsthof Alm” in Alpendorf (850 metres)
- Sledge hire is available at the Snoworld Sports Shop in Alpendorf at reduced rates for our guests
„HAHNBAUM“ TOBOGGAN RUN CLOSE TO THE TOWN CENTRE OF ST. JOHANN
- Toboggan run with a length of about 3.5 km
- Partly floodlit in a car-free area
- Start at the “Hahnbaum” Mountain Inn at an altitude of 1,100 metres
- The sledge run ends at the Leisure Centre of St. Johann – Alpendorf at an altitude of 650 metres
- The “Hahnbaum” chair lift takes you to the top of the sledge run until 4.00 pm; afterwards there are taxis available
- Mountain inns for a rest: “Hahnbaumalm”, “Vogei Hütt’n”, “Hahnbaum” Hotel, “Hetzenbichl” Inn
- Sledge hire is available at local sports shops
